“A History of Monroe County Resources” over 13,000 years will be presented when the Pocono Garden Club meets at
1:00pm Tuesday, October 8th at the Monroe County Conservation District, 8050 Running Valley Road, Bartonsville. MCCD Environmental Education Coordinator Roger Spotts will trace resources, wildlife and people, and how the county has
changed in the past 13,000 years. The October meeting’s design entry is called “Witches and Warlocks.” it should be a stretch design. The horticulture entry should be a collection of five colored foliage leaves, identified, and displayed under glass on a flat base. The houseplant entry should be your favorite! Light refreshments are welcome.
